Airtax was created by two airline pilots, Johannes and Sebastian who felt overwhelmed each time it was time to file their annual tax return statements. They felt that airline crew as a group were subject to a tax situation that required extensive knowledge of tax laws and rules compared to other professions. This knowledge is not easily acquired and they felt the need for something that simplifies the life of airline crews in tax matters. As a result, Airtax was created.
